Green - Grey

The delicate relief-textured surface evokes underwater grasses swaying beneath the surface of a river. Soft merino wool shifts through various shades of grey, while matte cotton in pale green gradually gives way to lustrous, darker green viscose with a subtle shimmer. Mohair adds another layer of texture, interweaving in places with the contrasting sheen of the viscose yarn. Viewed from one angle, the textile is defined by its greys; from another, green becomes the dominant colour. It is the gentlest and most soothing piece in the entire series.
