Floor Piece

Floor Piece is composed of 13 modular elements, upholstered in 12 distinct textiles. Each fabric introduces a unique texture, ranging from smooth to coarse, further emphasised by variations in colour and the internal filling of each module.

Beyond texture, the work also engages with hardness as a key aspect of haptic perception. Designed for interaction, Floor Piece invites users to rearrange its components freely, allowing for multiple configurations and tactile experiences.
